L'Effrontée means 'the stubborn' because the cuvée comes from a plot that experienced two consecutive frosts, resulting in smaller grapes but determined to prove itself 💪🍇.
It is one of the most intriguing whites in the region. Its main strength lies in its superb balance, which could easily transport you to the Loire if tasted blindly. Despite being a blend heavily influenced by Northern Rhône, with a significant amount of Viognier, the aromas are not overpowering or excessive. It feels like biting into a fresh pear, then into a tart whose buttery and caramel taste remains in the mouth. The texture is delightful, with just the right amount of velvety richness thanks to a perfectly measured hint of oiliness.
A wine that manages to be both a gastronomic and an apéritif wine.
