A high-flying orange wine š šŖ, Jupiter takes its name from the colour of the largest planet in the solar system, from which it borrows its orange reflections š.Ā Following an ancestral technique, Simon lets his grapes macerate in a kvevri (a terracotta amphora) to vinify it like a red wine.
The 2022 vintage provides dynamism, and the contribution of maceration is perfectly balanced, without any tannic grip or harshness, but with a delightful aromatic complexity, where one can find notesĀ of dried apricot, flower honey, caramelized apple, and bitter oranges. The finish is long, on lightly malted notes and angostura.
