A high-flying orange wine 🚀 🪐, Jupiter takes its name from the colour of the largest planet in the solar system, from which it borrows its orange reflections 🍊. Following an ancestral technique, Simon lets his grapes macerate in a kvevri (a terracotta amphora) to vinify it like a red wine.
The cool 2021 vintage provides dynamism, and the contribution of maceration is perfectly balanced, without any tannic grip or harshness, but with a delightful aromatic complexity, where one can find notes of dried apricot, flower honey, caramelized apple, and bitter oranges. The finish is long, on lightly malted notes and angostura.
