Intact is a real tour de force. Besides revealing the true expression of Merlot, with its clear notes of prunes, star anise, liquorice, boysenberries, dark chocolate and fireplace smoke, it has been produced without any added sulfites 👌
The palate is fresh, spicy with powdery tannins. Ripe blackberries, black cherries, boysenberry and red currant come together to create a generous yet airy combination.
The finish is driven by a long acidity and ends with an elegant herbaceous note of garrigue (Provencal herbs) and a touch of cumin.
For pairing, think Tajine with Prune or Beef Tataki
