Prioundo is Paul's interpretation of what Corbières should be. Sure it is a serious Grenache which comes its indulging flavours of 70% dark Chocolate, grilled plums, crushed gravel and Provencal herbs. However, he gives his wine a contemporary twist by extracting Grenache's unusual suspects such as orange peel, rosemary and pomegranate juice. As you'll progress through the bottle, the structure will become smoother, increasing complexity. Gentle and seducing. On a blind taste, I'd have been torn between Corbières and Marsannay.
