New oak is a bit like makeup.
Use just the right amount, and it enhances natural beauty. Use too much, and you end up looking like a clown š¤”
That pretty much sums up the wise balance of this wine, aged in the Burgundian style in two-year-old barrels.
The oak brings out the primary notes of nectarine, lemon, and apple, wrapping them in a silky texture with hints of fresh butter, frangipane, and a touch of hazelnut. Itās a taut, creamy, silky, mineral wine. Primary, secondary, and tertiary notes all coexist in harmony.
Personally, itās the kind of wine that restores my faith in humanity š
Perfect balance does exist, and we need frequent remindersālike this wineāto bring us back when we get lost in the rat race š¤
