Domaine La Varenne

If you love Aligoté or never tried it before, you're in for a treat because the domaine de la Varenne has some of the oldest and healthiest aligoté in the appellation.
La Croisette has 5% of new oak barrels and that's enough to give that Burgundian bang for your buck. We find the usual suspects of Aligoté. Peach, lime zest, apple and white flowers but it comes with a light natural vanilla pod kiss 💋
If I had to pitch it to a friend, I'd say it's the cool havermelkelite cousin of Chardonnay. If you're not Dutch, look it up 😅
