A joyful 100% Carignan that will remind you the lively energy of a Plousard. Its clear and bright notes of forest fruits, raspberries, bramble, strawberries come with an elegant tannic structure and a gourmand finish on British allsorts liquorice.

This cuvée means a lot to Serge and to us. Indeed, following up the big wildfires in the Cévennes, the vines of L’insoumis burnt and this millésime will most likely be the last one ever.

Tech facts: 

42 years old vines of Carignan growing on clay-limestone-sand soils. Harvested in small crates. Direct press, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tank. No herbicides, no mineral fertilisation, no pesticides. Bottled without fining and filtration.
