Colombard might be a stranger to you and yet it is nothing else bu the offspring of the famous Chenin Blanc ! Used to make Cognac in Gascony, this variety can also produce delicious wine when it grows in poor soils.
What a nose, it feels like opening a box of liquorice allsorts š¬š§ which would have guava, yellow apple and vanillaĀ flavoured sweets. The first sipĀ gives generous golden apple and kiwi juice, vanilla ice cream with a zest of lemon. Long finish that keeps on giving.

Clay-limestone soils from the Black Mountain. No herbicides, no mineral fertilisation, no pesticides. Manual harvest. Maceration in stainless steel tank for 5 months. Bottled without fining and filtration. Aged 1 year before launch. Certified Organic.
