There is more than one wine in this bottle. The evolution in the glass is
unprecedented, like a rollercoaster. The flavours and the texture are going hand in hand. Juicy pomegranate, spicy green pepper that wakes up the taste buds. As the wine opens, it is sweet at times, then savory, with mouthwatering notes of cured meat, like a cured sausage coated in pepper. Long finish. It really has all the Ploussard characteristics. 2023 being a fresher vintage than 2022, this wine trades some of the extra generosity for more balance between the texture, the acidity and the bitters. Note that 2023 is, according to locals, the best vintages in Jura in 30 years 💫
