Drôline is 100% made of Pineau d'Aunis and this grape variety is a little bit like Marmite in the U.K. You absolutely love its spicy, herby and meaty characteristics or you hate it!

Yet it's unlike the Pineau d'Aunis that you might have tried in the past. Outspoken yet mild, Drôline is a great way to discover this very old variety of the Loire Valley. Beautifully concentrated, fresh, sappy, spicy and nicely mineral with some peppery notes alongside the fresh, gourmand notes of black cherries and forest strawberries. 11.8% alcohol. Your chance to try Black Chenin!
