The cuvée is named 'Vertige' because it comes from the granite quarries of Leynes. Leynes sits exactly on the fault line between the Beaujolais granite and the clay-limestone soils from Burgundy. That makes this wine a great blind tasting contender as it has its very own identity. Note that this is not an oaked Chardonnay, yet it has that very recognizable apple and nuts profile and a slightly lighter creamy texture than the Saint Véran (more oaked Chardonnays).
